The NICK NAME !

There are few 'words' in college life that have diametrically opposite meanings. Probably the one that sits somewhere at the top of the list is
'IV- Industrial Visit' .
Would you beleive if someone told you that this word has a musical coating to it? There is a subtle logical proof behind this.

This is an important period in Gin's life. Gin is being respected by not one but two girls for the first time in life.
[Trivia: It is a universal fact that if one girl 'x' who talks well with a guy 'y' , there is always another girl 'x1' in the friend set of 'x' who will also talk well with the same guy 'y'. The proof of the theorem is left as an practical exercise to the interested reader]

Industrial visit to Pondichery!
Gin views it as an golden opportunity. [and so did every other guy in the class, everyone for his own reason. Not to forget to mention the male staff who went along with the students]


There are two girls whom Gin always hangs about with. For simplicity of the discussion, let us assume the two girls are named G1 and G2. There happens one very interesting conversation between Gin, G1 and G2 which probably served as the cementing base for the theory that the world would see and amaze in the later years. Here is the cut short version of the conversation.



G1: "Hey Gin "
Gin: "mmm"
G1 : "Pondicherry kku IV vandirukka.... thanni ellam adikalaya?"
Gin: "Comapany thariyaa? Adippom"
G1 : "Enakku Ok. Iam ready"
Gin: "Adi paavi"
G2 : "Adhaaney paathen... nee dhaan TB patient aachey.... nee epdi thanni adippa?"
Gin: "TB patientaa?? Naana.... enna solra?"
G2 : [smiles to herself]
G1 : Hey ... chumma irudi.... [and now she starts smiling]
Gin: [smiling too...for reasons that only god knew] ... Hey enna ya solreenga.... edho kalaikareengannu puriyudhu...aanaa ennannu dhaan theriyala"
G1: Adha vidu Gin... enakku idha sollu nee..
Gin: Edha vidanum? Edha sollanum?
G1: indha 'G3' romba overaa pandra.... enakku konjam kooda pidikkala... nee ennannu kekka maatiyaa?
Gin : 'G3' yaa?? romba nalla ponaachey ... enna panninaa?
G2 : adhaaney paathen... ayya adhukkulla G3 kku vakkalathu vaaga aarambichitaaru
Gin : chumma sonnen.... indha G3 romba mosamana ponnu... enna suthama madhikka maatengara.... avalukku naan edhukku vakkalathu vaanga poren
G1 : idha naan kandippa G3 kitta solren..
Gin : edhaavadhu plan panni irukeengalaa?? enna theva illama vambula maati vidaadheenga... naan romba nalla payyan...
G2 : aanaa paavam .... TB ....enna pandradhu
Gin : [in a loud voice] ayyo.... inga enna nadakudhu? edhavadhu puriyara maadhiri pesareengala
G1 : unakku ippo enna puriyala?
Gin : neraya puriyala... modhalla enakku TB , enakku TB nnu edhukku solreenga?
G2 : unakku TB nnu naanga sollavey illayey
Gin : aprom?
G2 : nee dhaan TB [laughs loudly]
Gin : naan TB yaa? apdeennaa??
G1 : hey Gin... TB n garadhu unakku naanga vechi irukara nick name !!!
Gin : oh ...apdeenaa enna?
G2 : aai.... adha epdi adhukulla solluvom? neeyey kandupudi paakalaam??
Gin : mmm.... TB??? [Thinks hard] .... Thiagaraja Bhagavadharaa??? naan paatu paaduvennu epdi neenga thappu kanakku poteenga?
G2 : yedhukku unna neeyey kevala paduthikara.... TB n garadhu oru sweet name ... for a sweet guy [smiles]
Gin : [smiles]
G1 : Hey Gin... seri naanga roomkku porom... yosichu vai... naalaikku kaalaila kulla TB naa ennannu kandupidi ..... bye bye... good night...
G2 : Good night Gin
Gin : Good night.... Good Night....

G1 : romba sweet name Gin.... romba Cute name too.... unakku perfectaa porundhum... G2 dhaan unakku andha peru vechaa....
Gin : Enga ava ? aalayey kaanom.
G1 : Theriyala.... inga dhaan engayaavadhu poiruppa...
Gin : Seri TB naa ennannu sollu pls....
G1 : Ok...sollidaren...aanaa naan sonnennu G2 kitta solladha... she did not want me to tell this to you... [smiles]
Gin : Kandippa solla maaten.... nee ennannu sollu...
G1 : [with a wide wide wide grin that showed almost all her tooth] TB naa Teddy Bear.... Teddy Bear naa Gin..... so cute no?????

Gin : [swallows saliva for a second] yeah.... toooo cute !!!!!
